Alaa Al BoaliExecutive DirectorMiddle East Facility Management Association
Alaa is MEFMA Executive Director who led the successful journey of the association by her visionary leadership and strategic orientation. Her dedication to serve the FM industry was noticeably demonstrated through committing to provide highly professional courses and running up multiple industry events across the Middle East. Her passion and experience in the associations industry led MEMA to be one of the most active ones in the region. Alaa holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from the American University of Sharjah, UAE. She started her career with KPMG to be the first Saudi female to work in tax in Saudi Arabia. She began her career in the associations industry starting with MEFMA in 2012 as the Relationship Manager. In between, she managed memberships and marketing at the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association before she was appointed as the director of MEFMA in 2016. Alaa holds a BS in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting and Finance from the American University of Sharjah, UAE. She started her career with KPMG to be the first Saudi female to work in tax in Saudi Arabia. After four years of dealing with clients, she has found her passion in communications and clients’ relations. This led her to begin her career in the associations industry starting with MEFMA in 2012 as the Relationship Manager. In between, she managed memberships and marketing at the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association before she was appointed as the director of MEFMA in 2016.

Anju has over 25 years’ of Experience in managing conference, Association Management, Events Management, Airline and Tourism industry. Bachelors’ Degree in Commerce and Business Management Practical influencer with strong leadership skills in developing new talents. She emphasis on educating and building capacity for delivering events in destinations. Anju is an independent, committed, dedicated and highly innovative individual. She is highly passionate about her work as well as family. Very motivated and spiritually inclined and 360 deg. experience. She represents ICCA in Middle East and shares a great bond with the members. Believes strongly that business events are trigger to sustainability, legacy and creates strong impacts.

Hazel, a dynamic entrepreneur and founder of the multi-million dollar Biz Group, specializes in expertly facilitating high-level events and team engagements. Since starting the company in 1993 with a modest $700, she has led it to become a regional leader in corporate training and innovative learning solutions, including a pioneering Virtual Reality Leadership Lab. Renowned for her exceptional facilitation skills, Hazel is adept at leading conferences and transforming team dynamics. She excels in integrating new CEOs into teams, swiftly transitioning them from newcomers to integral members, and is skilled in converting dysfunctional groups into high-performing teams. Her tailored interventions are designed to captivate and engage diverse professional audiences, ensuring events are purpose-driven, well-timed, and align with strategic objectives. Beyond facilitating events, Hazel, as CEO, also focuses on expanding partnerships and alliances. John PaulPresidentLeisure Marine Association
Originally from the Netherlands, John has considered the GCC his home for the past 25 years. He has gained professional experience in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait before settling in the UAE since 2009. Currently holding the position of General Manager at Exalto Emirates, the largest distributor and online retailer of marine equipment in the Middle East, John is deeply rooted in the region’s maritime industry. In addition to his role at Exalto Emirates, John serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Leisure Marine Association MENA. Established in Dubai in 2020, the association is dedicated to promoting and strengthening the marine industry in the Middle East and North Africa. LMA acts as a committed representative for various entities, including marinas, boat and yacht manufacturers, service providers, and equipment suppliers. The primary objective of LMA is to advance and nurture the growth of boat and yact ownership and usage in the region. The association is fervently devoted to advocating for its members, the broader marine industry, as well as boating and yachting enthusiasts.
