Trevor Stott-Briggs is the Managing Director of the Energy Institute – Middle East Branch. He brings to the EI over 48 years of working experience in all facets of energy sector activities for institutions, government clients, development banks, contractors, developers and consultants. He has worked overseas for over 43 years on major projects in 34 countries spreading from the Gulf to Asia, SE Asia, Austral-Asia and Africa.  He has been resident in the UAE for over 12 years and, consequently, has a long exposure to all aspects of the energy sector in the Middle East and an extensive regional network.

In 2015 the UN launched one of its most ambitious goals: a 2030 blueprint for a better world. Created with massive input from business, not for profits, governments and civil society, the 2030 Agenda identifies 17 Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs). But what does this mean for associations ? In this session, speakers will explain the philosophy behind the SDGs, how the goals can be integrated into an association strategy, and the benefits that they can bring to associations and their members.

  • Learn how the Sustainable Development Goals provide a path for greater impact, imagination & collaboration
